"nuce freundly hotel , good location "

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, free tea and coffee 24hours in the lounge area. Free waffles 5-9 in the evening. Taxi was reasonable about 200 for 4 of us with big liggages., better than the bus.

"4 Days In Tromso"

Just back from 4 days in Tromso, we stayed at the Viking hotel which is a nice clean & simple hotel. The staff were all great, helping us with any inquiry and offering good advice. The hotel serves tea & coffee all day and night, we got in from our aura hunt at 1am and hot drinks were offered. Do make time for the waffles, served each day from 5pm. The hotel is well placed near the Mack brewery & Polaria and is only 10 to 15 minute walk to the other end of town.

room was very small with not much hanging space, only a couple of shelves and no draws tv had very few channels and there were no hair washing products and no hair dryer

Excellent stay, close to everything, good breakfast, coffee and tea all day included is great. Waffle at 5pm was also great. Excellent place to stay as staff is friendly and helpful!

"Comfortable Hotel close to all the amenities "

We stayed at this hotel mid December,very friendly helpful staff,who made our stay very enjoyable advising us on, and recommending trips to go on .The room was comfortable and cosy and the hot drinks in the reception area were great after a day out in the snow. If we go back we will certainly use The Viking Hotel again

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean albeit small and cozy. Hotel staff was very helpful and their evening waffles were delicious. Great choice.

"cheaper option, clean and convenient. Easy to find"

Hotel is very close to shopping centre, restaurants and attractions! Room is small but enough for one person! Breakfast is good with salmon, different spreads, and fresh peppers. I like the unlimited coffee tea at reception, that saves a lot of money, some evenings they have self made waffles but one night didnt have, with their homemade berries jam. Reception aside from one guy, the morning shift ones are quite cold. Checked out didnt even say a word and at breakfast no interaction, probably they got too much work they do almost everything on their own.
