OYO Devonshire Park Hotel

Suite was spacious and clean, breakfast was cooked to order and hot. Location was great for all amenities including theatre beach and pier.

Nothing to dislike.

Excellent position near to Towner galleries and also to South Downs Way a little further on. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms.

Great location to Devonshire Theatre or The Congress

Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially on reception - a real fount of knowledge of the area. The location is perfect - just back from the seafront, opposite the Towner and on a quiet, wide road. My room was nice - with a decent-sized bathroom and shower that was pretty good (by UK standards).

The windows in my room were covered in black mould and clearly had not been washed for years, ditto the white gauze inner curtains. This was odd because everywhere else was clean. Breakfast was the usually English hotel dishwater coffee and ready sliced bread, which I don't think is good enough nowadays - it really felt like a 20th century throwback.

We like it as it had parking for your car.

Bed covers could have been a bit cleaner looking.

Excellent location for Congress Theatre. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice large rooms. Lovely reception rooms, traditional decor, good bathrooms.

Superior room could have benefited from a small fridge, but only a minor thing.
