Haven House

The staff members were so welcoming and friendly, also giving great recommendations for around the area. The rooms were clean and had everything you need and breakfast was delicious! Lots to choose from and fabulous selection.

The shower was a little temperamental.

We loved our brief stay here. The staff were very friendly & the rooms were comfortable & clean. Very nice breakfast served with plenty of choice too. 5-10 walk to the sea, cannot fault a thing. If we visit Torquay again we’ll stay here.

The staff were friendly and chatty plus the room was immaculately clean The breakfast was fabulous, there was nothing you would not have eaten so 100% a great place to stay.

Very warm and friendly

Had a 5 night stay at Haven House Torquay and after a long 5 hour drive I was warmly welcomed by Mel and shown to my room. The room was clean and well furnished, and I had everything I needed for my stay. Parking was free on the street. The B&B is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute walk from the promenade. With just 6 rooms it is a small B&B with rooms downstairs and upstairs, just one flight of stairs. There is an excellent variety of breakfast options each morning with Mel front of house and Alistair cooking. The fried breakfast was utterly delicious every morning with quality produce and cooked to perfection. Plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit to choose from as well. My room was refreshed every day and a really nice touch was the two Celebrations every time I returned to my room. It was a wonderful stay with the perfect hosts and a lovely B&B. Highly recommend Haven House.

We stayed here here for one night and I would recommend. The people were very friendly and had lots of info on the local area. The room was basic and the shower needs updating but everything was pretty clean and the bed comfortable.
