Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standard expected of a 4-star property. While there are a few positive aspects, such as the friendly and service-oriented staff and the good, varied breakfast, these do not come close to compensating for the many serious shortcomings. To begin with, the situation at the swimming pool is unacceptable. Sunbeds are already being reserved from as early as 7:00 a.m., making it almost impossible to find an available bed even early in the morning. From around 10:30 a.m., the lifeguard walks around placing warning cards on the reserved beds, but this happens every single day without any follow-up or consequences. As a result, nothing ever changes and the same guests continue to reserve beds for hours without using them. Despite being advertised as heated, the pool water is ice cold and clearly not heated at all. The room itself is in a shocking condition and absolutely not worthy of a 4-star hotel. The bathroom is covered in mold, the sink is damaged, and the water pressure is extremely low. On top of that, the water temperature constantly changes from freezing cold to scalding hot, making it very unpleasant and unsafe to shower. Towels are replaced daily but frequently arrive with visible stains, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the room are very poor. The room is outdated, worn down, and clearly neglected for years. The curtains are heavily stained, the beds are uncomfortable and of very poor quality, and the overall impression is one of neglect and lack of care. Guests are instructed to place a card on the bed to request fresh bed linen, but this request is repeatedly ignored. Even after several days, no clean sheets were provided. We have stayed at Neptuno several times in previous years, but we have never experienced the hotel in such a bad state. The lack of maintenance in the rooms this year is by far the worst we have ever encountered. The same applies to the ongoing issue with sunbed reservations at the pool, which management appears unwilling or unable to address. Another disappointing aspect is the lack of basic hospitality. During a stay of 12 days, we received only two small bottles of water once, with no refills or replacements provided at any point during the stay. While the breakfast is good and offers plenty of choice, the lunch served at the pool bar is of very poor quality and not worth the price. Once again, the staff at the pool bar are friendly and do their best, but their kindness alone can no longer justify or make up for the many negative aspects of this hotel. Overall, this hotel no longer deserves its 4-star rating. Poor maintenance, hygiene issues, misleading facilities, and a complete lack of enforcement of hotel rules have resulted in a very disappointing experience. We would not recommend this hotel and will seriously reconsider returning in the future unless major improvements are made.

Nu-i cunosc numele de familie doar că toată lumea o știe de Maria. ESTE o femeie energică cu părul alb grizonat și care are un zâmbet pentru fiecare om care într-un restaurant un salut frumos pentru fiecare om care intră restaurant și o vorbă bună de mângâiere. De multă vreme am vrut să scriu asta ! Felicitări Maria ! Să trăiești mulți ani și să ai oameni buni și valoroși lângă tine , așa cum ești tu !

Apă caldă este o problemă !!!! Mare !!!!!! La duș fluctuează fără nici o periodicitate apa fierbinte , cu care de multe ori te arzi !!!!! Îți poate cauza răni !!!!!!!! Este foarte periculos ! Și ar trebui remediată problema asta cu care mă întâlnesc de multă vreme , fiind un constant oaspete în acest hotel !!!! Rezolvați problema apei de la dușuri !!!!!!!!

Neptune Hotel Located in the heart of Playa del Ingles, close to all the shopping, entertainment and alternative restaurants. Right next to the famous Yumbo centre, so if you want to be in the action, you couldn't be better placed. Firstly, it's a very busy tourist resort hotel, so if you're looking for a quiet, restful stay, this is most probably not the one for you. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for, very well connected to all services, including the efficient local bus connections. The room was spacious and nicely presented with a balcony overlooking the pool. I think the hotel has recently had a major refit because the decoration is in good order and clean. The double bed was very large and extremely comfortable with good pillows. There is a kettle plus a small refrigerator, which is always very welcome. Our room was located on the 5th floor, offering a good distance view of the sea. The Wi-Fi had good overall coverage, and the speed was fast. The bathroom is nicely equipped as you would expect, including a bidet if that's something you value, and the large walk-in shower was one of the best we have found in this level of hotel. The water pressure was very strong, and with a wonderful stream of constant hot water, just so refreshing. The overall function and public facilities were very good and worked very well. We never had to wait less than 1 minute for a lift. The standard of the communal areas was very clean. The two negatives I would mention are: firstly, the usual behaviour of a few of the greedy, selfish guests who get up at 7 am to go down to the pool to reserve with a towel all the best sunny south-facing sunbeds by the pool with no intention of using them until much later, if at all. I know this is a very common problem wherever you stay, so it's not the fault of the hotel, but they could police better to give everybody a chance to find a good sunbed without the need to sneak around down to the pool in the early hours of the morning. Secondly, there are numerous public levels all needing to be accessed by several steps, including reception and the restaurant, which might prove difficult for those with limited mobility. We were half-board, so we used the restaurant twice a day for our seven-night stay. I have to say we found the quality and choices of the food on offer were extremely good. There is a chef at a grill cooking eggs fresh at breakfast and grilling the different meat and fish selections in the evening. Overall, I would give the restaurant high praise for a self-service buffet-style eatery. The staff were very friendly and efficient in cleaning the tables and turning them round, so you never had to wait for a table to become free. nothing was too much trouble. In fact, all the hotel staff were bilingual and very helpful. To sum up, we had an amazingly good 7-night stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. We will definitely be back without hesitation.

A wonderful stay at this quality hotel. Six nights on B&B basis. Adults only was a great attraction. The room was well appointed with good quality size bathroom, bedroom and balcony. The mini fridge a great addition. The breakfast is one of the best offering I have encountered. The pool area a delight. The welcome glass on arrival and gratis glass of sangria poolside such a good touch. The bar area is well appointed and prices so good. The hotel is well located and definitely will have a return visit.

Some noisy guests especially late at night and first thing in the morning banging doors etc .. also people reserving some loungers with towels first thing in the morning and then they don't surface and use the sunbeds until after lunch that's ridiculous
