Hotel Saptagiri

Its a good hotel the night before you need to go to the airport. Not alot to do around the hotel, and its quite expencive to go in to Delhi. Its a shopping mall nearby in geargon, but then you need to take a taxi and pay toll to get there. The hotel is clean, good food and some of the staff was nice. Service charge and tax are not included in the prices for the food.

This hotel has nothing except a close location to Delhi Airport. I'll not recommend this hotel to any one. You can find some good options close to this location. All you have to you to pay a little extra.

hotel was fine, for a night but over priced for the area. bathroom items were not satisfactory, and the tub shower combination were non existent. the room was small and faced the noisy street and overpass. room service was fast and the food was very good. (so maybe that made up for some of the disappointments) the pick up from the airport was about to leave when I spotted him, only to find out he was given the wrong flight information for our pickup. (with no apologies from the front desk upon check in) most likely not going to revisit this hotel on my next trip to India.

After having stayed at the same old hotel for many years despite its decline, it was time to branch out and find a new place that was more modern, clean, and willing to cater to its guests. A taxi driver a few months back mentioned Hotel Saptagiri and after "the last straw" at the "Other Hotel", I reserved a room here. Let's suffice it to say that the taxi driver should have been given a bigger tip! Although all of the hotels in the Airport Zone fall into the same less than desirable neighborhood due mainly because of noise, this property is well maintained, the room was spotless from top to bottom, decor was tasteful and conservative, and it only took minutes to reach from the arrivals hall at the airport by taxi. Good food on premises. The only disappointment was the "Business Center" that housed one computer which was slower than dial-up connection slow.

I had a prepaid hotel room and extreme difficulty for the check out clerk to accept my prepaid status. When I asked for a city cab, the staff provided me with the hotel limo at an inflated cost. The people are not friendly.

There is ONLY one reason to stay here - convenience of location. If you need a few hours to take a nap between flights, then this works - if you can ignore the smell in the room! The only way I could overcome the smell was to have the AC turned full on! The staff is helpful - though knowing Hindi will take you a long way. Pushing Rs. 100 tips to the staff will get you anything. But I will be hardpressed to spend anything other than a few hours at this place. If you are looking for anything other than an overnight stay and getting the hell out of there - then this is your place. Otherwise you should either spend twice, or go further in town to find a better place.

Hotel was quite nice including the service. Convinient for transit as its close to both domestic & International airport, also the hotel provides pickup and dropoff service to airport. Hotel was quite clean and food was good. Though the rates are bit high. Otherwise no complaints.

It was good to stay at Saptagiri and good services for restaurant and transport.

Booked a room with airport pick up and emailed details of flight, but the hotel did not send a driver to pick us up. The area around the hotel is a dump. You would do better booking a hotel near downtown Delhi at a central location. If you prefer a hotel near the airport, there are several better hotels to chose from. We were going to stay at the hotel after a two day visit to Agra, but I cancelled this hotel and got a better room near old Delhi.
