New Inn

Set in a very pretty village and close to Ilminster.

Welcoming overnight stay in very secluded village a few miles off the main A303. Great food. Chose to eat at premises that evening. Good menu choice with quality service. Cooked full English the next morning was also very good. Recommend the local produced cider sold on the premises & to visit the producer approximately 1/4 mile from pub. Good free WiFi on premises. Only slight negatives:- Stayed in room 4, lots of cobwebs above & behind beam over bed also dusty under bed. Painted bath panel not very good visually. Frustratingly only two power sockets available. Recommend putting additional photographs on accommodation site to further promote this lovely place to stay.

A very clean and comfortable stay, great menu and knowledgeable staff who are very friendly. Should I be in that area again for business I would not hesitate to use the New Inn again.

Lovely rooms, quite adequate for our needs. Very friendly staff, we were made very welcome. Food amazing and we would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed here a few times in the past - last time was around 10 years ago. As before rooms are great and the food excellent. Will definitely stay again

Walk in the countryside, glass of proper cider and a simple traditional pub dinner

Fantastic , friendly pub, the owners were very friendly very good with our dog.the room was lovely, very comfortable.An annexe to the main pub which opened onto a beer garden safe to let the dog off.food very good ,friendly locals.all staff friendly.definately go again.

We could not get Breakfast untill 8-30, we thought it was quite late, so we left with out eating
