"Lovely and genuine countryside hospitality "

A lovely location the New Inn is a fine combination of older characteristics and modern requirements for the leisure traveller. The hosts, Nicky and Richard are a friendly caring team together with their front of house lead Louise. We enjoyed their meals served with generous portions. Home cooking is the accurate description. We were travelling with our 6 year old grandson and he and two other young boys staying there were treated with a kind and genuine welcome. Our grandson wants to return with his Mum and Dad!

"A lovely stay"

We were made very welcome. We had a lovely stay, tea, coffee even hot choc. provided in room with biscuits, this was a nice surprise. Cooked breakfast was a nice start to the morning. We stayed for evening meals, reasonable and yummy! Perry's Cider just walking distance away with a lovely shop with numerous items to look at. Driving can be tricky if following tomtom it can take you through country lanes, but if you go towards ilminster then Dowlish Wake, the lane you go down is much shorter!

" New Inn provides excellent accommodation and food"

The New Inn was fabulous in every way. Extremely welcoming by the host in a delightful village. Very impressed by the accommodation and the food which we had in the evening and breakfast was superb. The cost was extremely modest and we would have absolutely no hesitation in visiting the New Inn again.

Stopped over for night on way to Cornwall. Warm welcome nice room. Staff extremely helpful locals friendly. Perfect start to our holiday

Nice quiet location. Beer was excellent as was the lemonade & lime. Just the job after a late run from Plymouth in a 1929 Lagonda!
