The Mousetrap Inn

Lovely pub with rooms, very relaxed. Not luxury but had everything needed for an overnight stay. Didn't eat in but had an excellent breakfast the following morning.

Shower equipment is bad

Loved the quirkiness of the property the decor was great just our kind of place food good. Room unite small and hot and noisy

The food was fantastic but the most amazing aspect was the excellent friendly staff

A place with a friendly atmosphere

I read a lot of reviews before settling on The Mousetrap Inn. I'm so glad, they barely did it justice! This is a cozy spot in a charming town. The room lacked nothing, simple, clean, comfortable. But the gem is the pub. The atmosphere is charming with beautiful artwork and furnishings in picturesque stone walled low beamed ceiling rooms. You are never rushed, you can move in for the night. Everyone who works there is truly helpful and friendly. Even in the kitchen I overheard nothing but joking and laughter. And the food! It was some of the best I've ever had & I'm from Philadelphia, a major food town! The owners have created a happy, relaxing atmosphere, you just have to go and stay and especially eat!

The Mousetrap Inn is a simple yet wonderful accommodation and cosy pub serving delicious food and premium ale. It’s location, Bourton-on-the-Water is one of the most beautiful and charming areas in the Cotswolds. Walking distance to the Slaughters and Stow on the Wold. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Be sure to make reservations if you plan on dinning. The pub is very popular and once you enjoy eating here you’ll know why.

Very old quaint hotel with creaky old floors and narrow hall. Nice quiet neighborhood and great location for touring the Costwolds. Breakfast was great and overall lovely little place to stay.

Staff were warm and welcoming from the first minute we arrived. Perfectly situated just outside the main tourist area of Bourton but still less than 5 minute walk in.
