The Mousetrap Inn

The quirky design of the property excellent friendly staff nothing was too much trouble .

The Mousetrap is in a great location for walking around. The restaurant is pretty good and there were boardgames we could play. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The wifi didn’t work in the room. Our shower didn’t drain very well. We had somehow booked the only room in the hotel that didn’t include the continental breakfast. It would have done a lot for the overall experience if we could have enjoyed some toast and coffee.

Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Location perfect. Decor and atmosphere very good. Food was very fresh, well cooked and plentiful. No dislikes at all

The location is great and the hotel was very good with the exception of the WC in our room (Agatha) The room needs detailing to be perfect, nothing that would make us not return but as we are 'picky', a well detailedroom would make all the difference between the average and your 'Fabulous' 4.3

Nice place but breakfast poor - they 'ran out' of fruit first thing, no green tea, and avocado was brown and tasteless.

Fantastic welcome, lovely room with plenty of storage for clothes. Toiletries, fresh towels and very comfy bed. Pub was beautiful and welcoming - food served during the evening was fantastic. Breakfast wraps beautiful and fresh, help yourself to as much toast as you like. Only suggest I would make is a vegetarian breakfast and yoghurt.

Lovely quaint inn. Unfortunately the bed was very narrow and the mattress was extremely soft and rather uncomfortable. Staff were excellent and breakfast was lovely
