"This historic home has many many charms, its staff being prime among them."

We were greeted and treated like long lost family during our stay. The gentleman that settled us in (sorry I don't remember his name) and Karen the next morning were extraordinarily kind and attentive.

Our prime discomfort was of our own making (too much luggage) but as our room was up at the top of the building it meant climbing a lot of stairs with bags. However the wallpaper in the room we were assigned does need to be refreshed, some was starting to release from the wall.

Excellent, best ever, breakfast. Very good evening meal. Waitress was very friendly and chatty. Such an iconic building with such history and unique decor.

Ok, so the wallpaper is in need of a bit of TLC but only adds to the charm

Lovely old Abbey and looked like the place was refurbished in the 70s and like stepping back in time. It was comfortable clean and welcoming and I can’t wait to go back. Didn’t have a evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Can’t think of anything.
