Payment Information: Please note that the Charterhouse does not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. The swimming pool is open from 31 May - 31 August weather permitting. Check-In Information: The Charterhouse does not have 24-hour reception facilities, so please provide an estimated time of arrival when booking. Check-in is usually before 18:00. No arrivals after 22:00 are accepted. Please note that the hotel does not accept cats. Pets can only be accommodated in the Small Double Room with Patio and Large Family Room (2 adults + 2 children) with Garden View, and cannot enter the main house. Please inform the property prior to arrival if your are traveling with a pet. Please note that guests who book 'room with breakfast' rates can choose from a variety of breakfast options including Continental, Full English and Vegetarian.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

The place is beautiful. 5 min walk and you are by the sea front. Perfect location. Lisa and Christophe where a wonderful host. Made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!

"Fijn verblijf!"

Een heel rustig en schoon verblijf! De kamer was erg schoon en de badkamer heel netjes! De eigenaren zijn ontzettend lief en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was geweldig en zeer uitgebreid. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving, vooral Dartmoor National Park is een aanrader!

Alles was gewoon goed!

"A lovely weekend stay"

Our bedroom had everything we needed, such a comfy bed, and we loved our front door and little patio. The beautiful cats were an added attraction and the gardens are really pretty and relaxing.

It was unusual to have a door to the dining room straight from our bedroom, I felt it reduced our privacy a little.

"Excellent B&B - perfect place to stay"

This place is exquisite and charming. Excellent nice and caring hosts. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice view. Bed is very comfortable. Easy to find and close to the sea. Breakfast is excellent. The best B&B I have been to! Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet picturesque location with parking very peaceful and lovely garden Room was cosy and spacious we had the loft room and views were amazing

Nothing it was really good value and the breakfast and staff were so friendly and accommodating especially with my kids fantastic
