Nice room. Very comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfasts with well judged portion sizes.

Plate at breakfast on my last day (had fried selection) was cold. Did not notice on the other days.

"Nice but shouldn’t be a 5 star"

The property is a very old country house, which has a certain charm around it. Parts are dated but they are working on upgrading. The owners are lovely and very helpful.

Surprised that there were no wardrobes in the rooms. We had to request hand soap for the bathroom. For a 5* we were surprised to not have any complimentary bathroom products - the shower and body wash looked like a left over from a previous guest - supermarket brand. Luckily we had brought our own. It is also up a one track country lane, so difficult to walk to pubs etc.

"Peaceful weekend break"

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay, far from busy work lives. Plenty of parking, some of which is covered. Beautiful scenery.

Nothing to dislike. It’s worth noting that it is being refurbished but this didn’t affect our stay.
