The New Inn - Kidmore End

Staff were very helpful and the room served its purpose as a place to sleep

It was surface level clean but behind furniture was very dusty. Lots of dust in ceiling beams. Could have been cleaner but overall was good.

Bed were reasonably comfortable

Clearly, the rooms were in desperate need of refurbshment. In the meantime it seems that costs were being minimized by limiting the amount of general cleaning.

This is a lovely pub, set in the village. Ashleigh who runs it was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her, even though she was on her own, doing everything from bar tending, cleaning and cooking meals....if this was in my village I would be very happy, shame we live a 3 and half hour drive away!

Local to a party we were going to. A car required to get around, quite remote.

Property needs a good overhaul. Fan in room didn’t work. Shower had to be held when trying to shower.

There were no indications that this pub is going through difficult times and is up for sale. It clearly has had good times but the promise of food did not materialise as there is no chef at the moment, opening hours are limited and it is in need of investment.
