Red Ginger Chic Resort

No electricity from 12pm im at hotel 5pm.Excuse given is whole of aonang do not have but noticed outlets atcao nang has electricity.i noticed the hotel is under going minor renovation.Hotel should compesate at least.Basic tooth brush n body lotion not provided in the room only after asking at night then only being provided.During check in my wife asked lotion in the room receptionist said do not have.

I stayed at a lift room on the 4th floor with lots of space to spread around. The pool is amazing except for the fact that it closes at 7 pm. It is a short walk to Ao Nang Beach and has a great breakfast. I booked a tour for the 4 Islands directly with the front desk and it was of high standards. On my early departure they provided me with a surprise take away breakfast which was a kind and sweet gesture. Highly recommend it.

Overall, Red Ginger Chic Resort is a nice hotel to stay at. My partner and I loved the ambience the moment we stepped in due to the artistic decorations. Breakfast spread was good as there were many choices for asians/non-asians/halal options. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable but yet a little dark. Plus point is that things required in and outta the hotel are all provided in the room (i.e. umbrellas, straw mats).

Over all its a good stay except for WiFi ..very poor internet connection.Hotel is clean ans near to beach and restaurants.

Hotel is slightly dated/in need of an upgrade but is an excellent walkable location between everything with a good feel and welcoming staff.

Location is close to beaches and the Ao Nang night market. Pool is huge and a bonus was the pool bar.

one night only, on the way to Krabi. some people will love the village, some others (like me) make their way as soon only possible. the hotel is really good

Really enjoyed our stay at Red Ginger Resort. Lovely atmosphere in hotel,cross between Thai & Japanese. Public areas beautiful. Couldn't beat the pool & swim up bar with happy hour twice a day! Restaurant very nice too. Abundant well cooked breakfast & lovely snack menu by the pool. Service always excellent from waiters & bar staff to receptionists. Only slight criticism is rooms slightly musty as obviously had some problem with damp in showers at some point so rooms could do with a slight refurb but this was not enough for us to moan about as everything else was so good. Everyone moans about the wifi that drops in & out which is a bit irritating but had enough for our needs. You can get wifi in any restaurant! We loved the location as we were between 2 beaches. Ao nang a bit crazy,very busy,touristy & becoming a bit over the top. Noppharat thara beach,much nicer more authentic thai area. Also lovely food,clohing market at the top of our road. Would definitely recommend Red Ginger to those wanting to visit this area of Thailand.

Very close the the beach and many great restaurants and night markets. The hotel itself is well kept with a kind staff. It is very clean. The only complaint is that the TV reception is very poor and the internet was also very slow. I don't know if this is Thailand in general, or specific to this hotel, but it was hard to access my email sometimes.

A modern boutique resort with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Spacious, clean, quiet and a great pool! Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Fantastic to see a resort actively concious of it's carbon footprint and environmental sustainability with eco friendly amenities and recycling in place. Would definitely recommend.
