Elms of Camden

The hosts were so nice, the location was great. Easy to find, walking distance to downtown and delicious breakfast.

Well we are both tall and do not think we realized our room had pitched ceilings on both sides. In order store our luggage we had to use the space so we hit our heads numerous times. And of course since we were on the top floor we did have quite a hike up the narrow stairs with luggage.

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The inn itself and the rooms are charming, James & Gary are outstanding hosts and breakfast was a treat! Many thoughtful touches. It is a 10 minute walk to the center of Camden. We will certainly stay here again. Thank you James and Gary!

breakfast was great . cute and clean place and close to the harbor or downtown.

it would be good if the bathroom had like maybe a shelf to hold some of your traveling cosmetic bag.

We stayed in the Lupine room for one night as part of our trip between Boston and Arcadia National Park. I liked it being towards the back of the property with it's own door to come/go from. As other reviewers have noted, the B&B hosts are terrific. We enjoyed chatting with other travelers at breakfast, and especially when Gary and James stopped and joined in. They are so friendly and we really enjoyed our brief time here. We also liked the easy walk into town to check out the town. If we're fortunate enough to be out this way again, we will definitely stay here again!

The property was amazing, we had the best time at the Elms of Camden. The property was great, had everything you could want. Room was very comfortable, shower was powerful and relaxing, breakfast was by far the highlight of the stay

Gary and James are wonderful innkeepers and this historic home was a perfect stay. After suffering several nights on rock hard hotel mattresses it was heaven to sink into the luxury of a high end mattress in the Dahlia Room. Kudus to Gary for a delicious breakfast as well. Loved the village of Camden and would highly recommend.

We had perfect weather and a wonderful place to stay at Elms of Camden. Gary and James were excellent hosts who shared wise advice on where to eat and what to see in and near Camden. Our room was convenient to breakfasts which were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Gary and James really added to our enjoyment of the mid-Maine costal area.
