Elms of Camden

My husband and I chose The Elms of Camden for our second stop on his big fiftieth birthday adventure, and it did not disappoint. The property is superb, lush with greenery.. the room (Iris) was private, clean, and well equipped for all our needs. Our hosts were friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that we didn't have more time. It was a welcome respite to return to after our jaunts to Acadia and the surrounding areas, as well as visits to McLoon's. If you are treated to the mushroom quiche while you're here, consider yourself lucky. Everything was just lovely.

James and Gary were the consummate innkeepers. Attentive when appropriate and gave us plenty of space. We loved the inn. Quaint and comfy. Breakfasts are incredible. So delicious and inspired.

This is an amazing inn with two amazing gentlemen Gary and James. My husband and I spent two nights and everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was beyond delicious and I didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to go back. Camden is lovely.

Lovely inn with lovely hosts. Gary and James are friendly and attentive. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The inn is a short walk into Camden making no car necessary when in town. Will definitely stay there again when next in Camden area.

My wife and I had an incredible weekend in Camden, and a large part of it was because we stayed at the Elms of Camden. Everything was perfect. The house is historic and charming, the location is ideal (you can walk to just about everything in Camden if you're inclined), and the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. Our room (Daisy) had a gas fireplace which made a snowy weekend incredibly warm and cozy, and the homemade full breakfast served each morning was phenomenal, local, and fresh. The owners/innkeepers are awesome. They are both so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, having them to chat with and offer recommendations took our weekend to the next level. I recommend this inn highly to anyone looking, we will certainly be back, and we will bring friends and family.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Elms of Camden. Going forward, this is where we will stay while visiting Camden. The location of the Elms is splendid, easily walking distance to anything you want in town. Which makes parking at the inn and leaving your car for the weekend a breeze. The owners/innkeepers are the best we have encountered. They serve fantastic homemade, two-course breakfast each morning, they offer all the amenities one could want, and are overall just plain nice. They are very knowledgeable of the history of the house and the area. The house and the rooms are remarkably clean and comfortable. The house which was built in 1806 is super charming. All in all, we loved our stay and look forward to returning.

My friend and I stayed at the Elms during Camden's Christmas by the Sea weekend. We were new to Camden and new to the B&B experience but are ready to make the Elms and Camden a Christmas tradition. I can think of nothing to say that isn't a superlative. The hosts, Gary and James, were welcoming and gracious. They were also knowledgeable about the area and the events of that particular weekend. The room was comfortable and charming, the breakfasts were phenomenal, and, if you like to shop, the town was perfect for it.

Breakfast was phenomenal. The Daisy room was comfortable and quiet. Everything was luxurious like we were in our own home and did not feel like a hotel stay at all. The shower was wonderful.
