Carriage Way Inn

We liked everything with the exception that the bathroom needs a refresh - sand and patch the drywall, re-caulk the tub and shower, swap the pedestal sink for a cabinet with a sink. The cabinet with a sink would allow us more space to put things such as makeup, tooth brushes, etc. This is more of a suggestion.

Room was great. Property around room had a lot of leaves and was a little slippery. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing

Very good breakfast and I enjoyed the room we were in It was in the main floor and it was the cheapest room in the BNB ! Wish it was slightly bigger but like I said it was very reasonable in price ! But the Bed was a King which I always look for when we travel ! Love St Augustine !

Location was perfect. Room was a bit small. Limited storage to place clothing with an extended stay. A bit surprised no housekeeping was provided.

Lovely stay at Carriage Way Inn. Our room was very comfortable, bathroom was small but had a great shower. Breakfast and small amenities were very good and the location was wonderful to visit historic St. Augustine. Only regret was not asking for maid service as we thought it would be included in our two night stay. Sandy was warm and hospitable.

Carriage Way Inn has a good location in an old historic neighborhood. Near museums and restaurants. Free parking. Some St. Aug. streets are narrow and a little scary in the dark, because illumination can be low. (not because of crime) We chose a ground floor room to avoid steep stairs. Our room was charming but very cramped for space. No desk, only one night-table, no storage for toiletries, personal items, etc. in either the bathroom or bedroom. A few shelves and hooks will help a lot. Bed linens were lovely, room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful but the inn seemed understaffed. Breakfast was good and coffee and cookies are available for guests, as well as soft drinks and wine.

What a fabulous stay and will do it again when we return to this beautiful town. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was super friendly. And best of all was the proximity. Didn’t need to drive anywhere. Phenomenal restaurants. Saint for Italian and Harry’s for Seafood. Highly recommend the Carriage Way B&B.
