Almond Hotel Sothearos

we enjoyed our stay in almond hotel,all hotel staff are so friendly always helpful with smile on their face. this hotel have a good cafe with very good drinks selection,price also decent. room is clean,location not too far from riverside but not really walking distance. internet suck, but overall is good,will recomend to anybody who is going there.

We totally loved the hotel! The room was spotless! The service terrific- it is the first time in many years my husband has been bowed to as he left the hotel! Good help from the desk arranging tours. The breakfast bar was varied and allowed for the option of omelets with a wide variety of ingredients. Fresh croissants daily and fabulous fruits . The internet was a bit cranky and slow. But all else could not have been better!

We were there in late February. The Almond Hotel is mainly business focused but is as good for leisure travellers. It is a short tuk-tuk ride from the main holiday sights and sites ($2 max, although the drivers always seem to start at $3!). The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and well serviced each day. Breakfast most days was a buffet with a mix of oriental and western foods. We did not eat in the restaurant as it seemed pricey and there are many good places to go within a five minute tuk-tuk ride or ten minute walk (quite do-able in the evening when the temperature drops below 30C).

5 star rating.....if anything need a little help it would be the intenet access...upgrade to complete wireless would be a huge improvment. but this does not influence how great the sstaff a nd facilities were. If i ever return to Cambodia that will be my place of residence.

The staff is freindly and helpful. About a block away though there is a real shady neighbourhood that of course at night I wouldnt recommend to go near. Close to Royal Palace

Hotel room and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good and had many Asian, American and Continental choices.
