Waterfront Southport Hotel

We haven't stayed here before but II have to say this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for a long time. We are very happy with the standard of the room as it is very comfortable and has all the amenities we require. We have stayed in a lot of four star hotels but the staff here are some of the most efficient and friendly we have experienced in any hotel. From check in to bar staff, they are exemplary. We are only half way through our stay but I can't imagine the breakfast staff to be anything other than excellent. Well done Waterfront Hotel. We look forward to staying with you again.

Lovely location. From the outside it looked aged and needing a paint. But once we parked and arrived in reception all good. Lovely welcome and nice lounge/ reception area. We had a dog friendly room and it was great and lovely bathroom. Had a lovely stay

Came for the Dirty Dancing/Grease Bottomless Brunch event and stayed overnight. Staff were so helpful. Food and entertainment excellent. Bedroom very clean with plenty of space. Highly recommend it.

We booked The Penthouse as a romantic treat for a one night get away. We were greeted by chilled prossecco and fantastic views of the Southport sky line during sunset. We dined in the restaurant where we received 10% off, and the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. The facilities were immaculate with everything we needed for our stay and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also stayed for breakfast which was again, brilliant, with continental and traditional options. The hotel is only a short walk from the night life and shopping areas in one direction and the waterfront and marine lake in the other. Could not recommend enough.

We booked a night away as a treat, we wanted to upgrade the room and spend the evening at the hotel taking advantage of dinner there as well. It turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. With one of the best views, seeing the sun set felt extraordinary. You could see all the colours of the sky, whilst sipping prosecco. We timed the sunset prior to going down for dinner in the restaurant. Could not fault the service or food. The bed was so comfy and the room was out of this world. Breakfast the next day, was asked if I had any allergies and said about being vegetarian. Was made some vegetarian sausages to go with breakfast. Again, very looked after with great service and food. We will both be planning another stay, as it was just what we both needed.

Our son bought us an overnight stay as part of our Christmas present the out side doesn’t do it justice the inside is amazing clean the staff are so helpful and friendly. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant the food was delicious lunchtime we opted for sandwiches bread was so fresh and tasty in the evening I had the salmon oh my word it was delicious I would definitely come and stay here again and would 100% recommend you give it a visit

Two night stay at the lovely waterfront hotel, fantastic location. Rooms spacious ,clean, and beds super comfortable ,tea/coffee available allso lovley toiletries ,hairdryer etc..Breakfast was a delight ..great staff 10/10

had a lovely weekend stay at the Waterside Front in Southport. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The buffet-style breakfast was of a high standard, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is perfect—close to the seafront, shops, gardens, cinema, and restaurants, all less than a 10-minute walk away, with lovely views overlooking the lake. We would happily stay again.

We have never stayed at this hotel before, . We had just had 2 nights at the Claremont hotel in Blackpool and 2 nights at The Dolby Hotel in Liverpool. The reception for this hotel is on the 1st floor. We booked in and headed to our room. It was modern and tastefully done. I would say the nicest room we've stayed in thus far on our mini road trip. The bar area was really nice and staff were friendly. My only bugbear was the parking. There is a sizeable car park for this hotel but, because we'd booked through booking.com and not direct with the hotel we had to pay for parking at £15 per night, so it cost us £30 to park the car. Booking.com did not make it obvious that you had to pay. In the list of facilities it just says "parking available " it's only when you go to customer questions and one asks if parking is available, it does say yes but chargeable at £15 a day. £30 was a bit out of our tight budget "spending money budget," and meant that we couldn't eat out that night as planned, but the hotel was very nice and reception gave us a £10% off food and drink voucher. We had a drink in the bar, but didn't have food. The location of this hotel is perfect. We enjoyed our stay but left, now £30 down on spending money. Would I recommend, or stay again, yes to the hotel, but a no because of the parking charge.
