Queens Head

Stayed at The Queens Head hotel for a friends wedding. We were greeted by the owners and shown to our room which was very nicely decorated and clean with all amenities. Our evening meal and breakfast was lovely and the bar was great too. Thanks

lovely stay but disappointed that breakfast was not included. No choice of continental. Booked on the site and it stated breakfast included. We would have booked somewhere else as we incurred additional costs of £20 +. Even had to pay for each cup of coffee and hot water for tea at breakfast £1.90 per cup.

Our stay was pleasant. Staff were great however they had double charged us for the room and are now refusing to refund one of the payments. I tried a solid week to call the hotel to no avail. Now Expedia are attempting to deal. However I have contacted my visa and they are investigating the second payment.

Badly designed room, terrible shower (would have been better to go out in the rain). Room not cleaned daily and teas/coffees not replaced

Hotel refused to provide breakfast unless we paid extra £15 each although included in hotels.com deal Hotels.com did not respond to chat about issues raised whilst in hotel and have not contacted me about these since. I consider the rating of this hotel misleading and will not go back

Lovely staff, clean, up to date, coffee/tea. Excellent breakfast

Have stayed here before it was refurbished, the young member of staff who seemed to be doing everything, was very pleasant and helpful. We had a couple of issues but they were dealt with promptly. New layout, took some getting used to. Good breakfast.

Missed the home made pie you got befor refurbishment but the hotel overall is looking in a much better shape now after going with extensive renavations as a reguler patron ive noticed some nice changes overall and will be happy to stay again

We liked the LED lights around the headboard and the glow bathroom mirror and USB plugs. However, the heat turned off in the night.
