Super accommodating staff,nothing to much trouble, well kept building amazing value ,for food ,accommodation and service, highly recommended

Room was very clean, comfortable & quiet....but the TV in there was oddly fixed to the wall opposite the bathroom & could not be watched whilst you were in bed.

The food was disgusting it was packet mash potato and shop bought Yorkshire puds and to pay £10.95 the room cost £198 for two nights but unless you book direct from the hotel there is no breakfast included only after complaining that they had the wrong number did they include breakfast sorry never again

Looks like lots of money has been spent on what is overall a good refurbishment. However there are some issues. An old ventilation grill in the bedroom needs to be covered. It is dirty and full of debris. The shower had poor pressure and on the last morning there was no hot water. Never saw the same member of staff more than once so not sure how far our comments went in their structure.

We stayed in one of the family rooms, it was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty, our girls particularly enjoyed the American pancakes every morning. The only downside was the extremely weak shower in the bathroom!

The first 2 rooms the showers weren’t working. They changed our rooms for next night and we had no hot water. Breakfast was poor as in no cereal or fruit. Just cooked breakfast.

I cancelled it immediately as my travel arrangements had changed. You never got back to confirm this. I do not want to pay for something I never had. I phoned the hotel immediately and they said it was ok.

The check in was very quick and the staff so so friendly. We decided to eat at night too and the food was superb with again the service staff so helpful x friendly. Breakfast was a delight. Very well done. Lovely stay.

Loved the Quirky old Inn. Very good food, comfortable bed and lovely people looking after us. We were on the top floor and although the bath and shower water was powerful the hot water tap in the wash basin ran slowly.

Bathroom facilities poor.Bed good and staff excellent.Great breakfast.
