Riviera Hotel South Beach

I states here once in 2018 and this time I got a suite it was the best experience the staff was very nice as well

Room was clean. Staff was ok didn’t ask for much though. Didn’t have an ice machine had to ask bartender for ice. Room was kind of small but only stayed weekend so was fine. Exterior was in good shape but musty smell from the interior lobby from continuous rain. Would stay again give 3 out 5 overall.

This was a great hotel with a very Miami Beach vibe. Live music Friday and Saturday nights but not too late. Very friendly and helpful staff and a great restaurant/bar right downstairs. The room I had was fantastic and I loved coming back to the room after VERY hot days to just lay down and relax. The only downsides, which were kinda big ones was the lift was out the whole time so I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs constantly over the 4 day trip and the key card access for the room constantly broke so I had to get someone to fix it a few times which made me a little worried about the security of the room. Regardless of these 2 things tho it was a really nice stay, would definitely be back though ill ask about the lift before I book hahaha

Wobbly desk Leaking shower Shower head fell off mid shower Closet does not close No hangers when asked Tv didn’t work initially Room was not as chosen, wrong size bed and layout Elector does not work and no notice was given. Had to carry a 50 lbs bag up 4 flights of stairs. Very loud humming noise from the light by the front door. Had to use elastic to close curtains to bright purple light did not shine in all night. Toilet paper holder about to fall off the wall Towels were left on dresser, not hung up or put away in the bathroom. Black feet after walking around barefoot. Floors have not been properly cleaned. The complimentary breakfast was not even in the hotel which meant I did not have the time to even use them to travel to another hotel.

No clear directions of which of the three buildings to check in. Staff didn’t help with bags. Elevator didn’t work, so had to carry luggage up to top floor, while front desk offered no assistance. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable

Selon la description des inclusions, le déjeuner était inclus, toutefois, on doit se déplacer à un autre établissement hors de l’hôtel pour le service. Le café n’étant pas inclus, on devais le payer. Aussi, le fait de devoir se déplacer hors du site de l’hôtel pour le prendre le déjeuner était bizarre car le restaurant de l’hôtel offre le déjeuner si on paye. De plus, les assiettes mises à notre disposition sont des assiettes jetables et la nourriture est de mauvaise qualité.

First day we got there the receptionist was super rude telling us how there’s no quiet place in the hotel when all we asked was to switch us to a higher room. Idk how this place has 4 stars. The information online is false. The pool closes at 8 but online it says 24/7. The room always felt dirty even after cleaning, had a weird smell. No phone to contact reception and they don’t even have a microwave and the kitchen didn’t help us either. Definitely stay somewhere else unless you are never planning on staying at the hotel.
