Love THe Hotel

The property is need of better management, front desk and kitchen included. The soap they gave in the hotel is close to water so you don’t really feel clean using it. Staff forgets to clean the room.

We stay at Hotel Luisiana often. For us, it is conveniently located close to shopping and medical centers. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Not great. Needs updating and repairs

We arrived at SJO in the late evening and booked a room. We were greeted by a lovely host and our room was perfect. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this to anyone needing a place in San Jose.

Lovely private and quiet place, but obvious broken window lock and broken door lock were a bit alarming rendering the room completely insecure. Also no access to room safe. When questioned, the Office said, 'gee, sorry.' No followup. Also no hand towels. Sadly, no breakfast, but we were already aware of that.

We stay at this hotel often. Room is comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was not ready. Asked to leave a $50 cash deposit. Next morning they claimed we drank from the mini bar which we hadn’t. Made us wait while they sorted this out. All and all a crappy stay.

My husband, daughter and I stayed for one night at this hotel as our usual hotel was fully booked for my date. At the outset I must say, we don't normally say in this type of hotel. The staff's professional and friendly manner is most definitely a plus for this hotel. They also speak very good English, but they always appreciate if we can speak a little Spanish. I also enjoyed the shower which was hot and powerful. The hotel is very basic absolutely no frills. The beds are soft and sheets are gray as opposed to white. Unfortunately I would not stay in this hotel again. I would rather pay the extra and stay somewhere else.

Lovely setting, secure, friendly staff, coffee 24/7, and convenient. Beds comfortable but need softer pillows.
