"Guest house was comfortable but hardly any restaurants to chose from in the town"

A short walk into the town, the hosts were very friendly. Our room was cleaned each day and refreshments restocked which you don’t always get. Having a decent fan in our room was a big bonus! Would definitely rebook if we stayed in the area again.

Only reason it wasn’t a 10 was because there wasn’t free parking, other than that it was excellent!

"Great B&B, Great Hosts, Great Location...!"

Good breakfast although we did have to pre -order the evening before. This was OK but suppose it did mean if you wanted something else it could have caused a bit of a problem in the kitchen. Plenty of choice of cereals, juice, fruit and yoghurt on offer as well and large pots of tea... The room was really spacious even if it was on the top floor and the addition of a wireless charger for mobile phones was excellent. Good room facilities and a spacious bathroom. Parking was in the nearby (3 minute walk) multi storey and parking permits were available. We will be back...!

"Great Accommodation! Great Hosts! Great Holiday!"

To start with the location was second to none. The hosts Steve & Lyn were absolutely fantastic, they made her feel extremely welcome were very friendly helpful and catered for all of my needs. My room had everything I could want, it was very cosy, clean and comfortable stocked up daily with all the essential items to make my stay a very successful and relaxing holiday! I will most definitely consider The Barclay Guest House my first choice when I return to Paignton in future.

There was nothing at all to not like or be disappointed about everything was just right and perfect for my holiday stay.

"Great week away "

Liked · Loverly warm welcome on arrival, hosts very helpful and attentive great Size room everything you require. Thought if everything Very clean , warm , daily up keep by hosts ( free parking happy dayz ) 3 minutes walk from most amenities, amusements , restaurants for all appetites & budget , 5 minutes walk to the beach , 7 minutes from harbour absolute prime location. You won't be disappointed with your stay
