Barclay Guest House

We had a fantastic stay at the Barclay guest house. Steve & Lynn are a friendly couple who we spent time with chatting in the garden area where it was very relaxing. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and quiet. Decor superb. I would highly recommend staying here as its also close to the beach and shops. We loved our stay.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was spotless and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was a full English which was lovely, there was also cereals, yoghurts etc. The location is great too, really close to the beach, pier, shops, bars and restaurants. Steve & Lyn made us very welcome and the parking was easy too, Definitely recommend

Great location close to the sea and main street. Welcoming staff. Tea and coffee facilities. Clean room and bathroom. A peaceful home away from home.

The room was quite hot. We did have a fan in our room which we used so that helped.

Steve and Lynn are lovely and I felt at home during my stay. The room is small, but clean and comfy, there is a TV, comfy mattress and the shower has good pressure, the road is quite so I could have a good rest after a long day walking. Their guest house is very close to the train station and there is a Lidl half way which is very convenient. Lynn cooks the best scrambled egg I have had and the breakfast was ready when i came down. I really enjoyed my time with them.

Wonder hosts very accommodating, extremely helpful, breakfast was lovely, would definitely recommend staying here and only a very short walk to the beach ⛱
