General Palmer Hotel

This property is exceptionally beautiful and so well cared for in every way.

Beautiful relaxing accomadations . Perfect location. Staff were amaxing.

I was staying in a suite located in the Palace annex and found operating the remote heating controls challenging in fact it wasn't until the morning of my checkout that I was able to turn on some heat in the bedroom part which remained cold up until that time. The TV/ Netflix equipment was also confusing. I reccomend putting operation guides for both in the room

This was one of my favorite places to stay. The desk clerk went above and beyond. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the hotel. He helped us unload, showed us how to use the elevator, and took our bags to our room. The hotel was beautiful with all the period furniture and wood paneling on the walls. The room was spacious. The bed comfortable. The decor took me back in time, in a good way. The location of the hotel is great. You are about a block from the railroad and right in the old downtown district. You can walk to the shops downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Wasn't a big deal but there isn't an elevator to the second floor where the suites are.

It was a real treat to stay here. Like you stepped back in time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the old style elevator.

It would have been nice to have a wheelchair accessible ramp or lift at the parking lot entrance for easier access to and from parking.
