"Good for a night after a long day of travel, not a vacation destination."

Location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast attendant worked very hard to make sure the guests had what they needed. She was very friendly.

Trains blowing horns multiple times during the night. Breakfast was adequate - omelet was good. Instant oatmeal, instant grits, only turkey sausage patties, gravy and biscuits which a lot of folks don’t eat, no potatoes.

Location is perfect for my needs. This is the third or fourth time we have stayed there and it is always great. The staff is pleasant and always have a smile and a greeting when they see you. The rooms are clean and comfy.

"The gist of my experience is, great service and great staff."

On Sunday, October 19, 2025 my 3 sisters and I stopped at this Holiday Inn, very tired from driving. Fran checked all 4 of us in with patience and such efficiency it made the whole process go very smoothly. We were talking, etc. sometimes all at once, as family tend to do, while she was checking us in! Fran was never frustrated (as I probably would have been!) but always a smile for us and we really appreciated her customer service. This Holiday Inn location is exceptional not only for their cleanliness but also for their staff, all of which seem focused on making your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast area was very clean, great coffee and again the lady working there wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. When checking out, I told the lady helping us how pleased I was. She said something like "Our manager expects/encourages us to work this way." Again, with a smile as I walked out!
