Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace by IHG

Very nice staff and facilities. We stayed for five nights. It's close to both airport and inner city. However, a bit far away from the nearest train station, but still walkable. Convenient to taxi. Would stay again.

When checking in the employee tells me, "sorry but we don't have the king bed you requested, would you mind staying in a room with two single beds?" I responded, "I payed a very high rate for this room and you are giving me the room as you advertised it, period." He didn't say anything but magically, the room he said was not available, well, it was available and I got it. This hotel is deceiving. Next day I moved to another five star hotel in the same are (10 min. taxi ride); I paid 2/3 of the price for similar facilities and much better service.

I travel to Beijing often, and decided to try a new hotel during my last visit. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the Crown Plaza Sun Palace. The room was very, very nice, clean and comfortable. The best thing about it was how spacious it was. The staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the breakfast buffe in the morning. The food wasn't terrific, but enough choices for everyone. The location was ok. . . with access to the subway nearby. It was a good home away from home for one night, and I would stay here again.

I periodically work in Beijing. This hotel is an excellent value. Has everything I need including free shuttle to work. Wifi is great and staff is very accommodating.

Nice place to stay and a good value for Beijing.

Now that I visit to Beijing several times each year I find that Crown Plaza Sun Palace hotel is the very best choice for me as it is close enough to my office and on the right side of town for easy access to band from the airport. Spend the extra to stay in a club room, the rooms are good and the club lounge service us second to none.

Nice hotel and very clean. Big rooms and excellent service. The only issue was the carpet a little stained but other than that it was a very good hotel. All it needs is Location location location. It is located next to paxton shopping center (department store) but other than that no other things to see unless you take a cab.

highly recommended hotel with excellent comfortable rooms. very comfy furniture including the soft pillow-top bed. I really enjoyed their breakfast selection as well. hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood. centrally located to everything including bar and shopping districts. service was excellent. everyone from front desk to bellhop was very attentative and dedicated to their job. would book again.

Nice clean good view

The front desk staff needed more training on how to complete credit card transactions- chek in and check out we're not as smooth as it could have been. The concierge was excellent and very helpful and proactive. The staff around the hotel was attentive and courteous.
