Hotel Airport International

Hotel Airport International is one of the best hotels you can find in Mumbai that is near both the international and domestic airports. Their services impeccable, the rooms well maintained and big, the staff friendly and the price amazing. My thanks to the Reception Staff Jackie and his crew for an amazing job they did when I was there with my Dad for his treatment. You guys made my trip painless and easy. I recommend the management to give all of you a bonus and a raise. You guys make the hotel a place to stay. Well done. I coming back here again in December and I recommend everyone to stay here.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Domestic Airport, making it a top choice for travelers in transit. We enjoyed their premium room, which was overlooking a lot of greenery,and was of a satisfactory size. The hotel offers breakfast buffet, but please don't expect a large menu, for here it's just a basic menu (there were no cut fruits either.) The lunch and dinner menu is again, limited, but the food is tasty. Go for this hotel, especially if you need to catch a connecting flight or see off anyone to the airport, the main reason why you choose to stay at this hotel.

Hotel is very convenient for airport and ideal for short stays. Room was clean, comfortable and food quality in restaurant is very good, although service was a little slow.

1. People at reception care a hoot about the passenger. We dont care attiture. No greetings , no smile, looks like account staff managing the accounts of hotel and doing extra job. Sad and overworked faces. 2. Room ( Executive room) , They are so small and stinky . I felt clustophobic , Bathroom stinkings, Overall room was a big disappointment. 3. Housekeeping is totally untrained 4. Breakfast was oky but again the resturant staff was totally untrained and unhygenic. In name of cleaning table he just brushed all things from table to floor. We asked to mahe full cup of te to help cup he spilled the team on other cups and was not bothered much to clean. 5. In case of any eventuality like fire etc, it will be a big disastor as the staircase are narrow, , walk way can accomodate one person at a time. Only good part is proximity to T1 terminal, rest nothing good about the hotel. They have new guests every time so do not bother at all.

GOOD STAY. BREAKFAST CAN BE IMPROVED.

We had a flight from Mumbai to Singapore early morning. So it was very handy to stay in a hotel the previous night. This turned out to be an excellent option. It's about 10 minutes drive to the international airport. They provide the drop with nominal charges. The hotel was reasonably priced.

Reception staff treats you like they are providing service as charity, never seen such service in this standard hotels. The guy does morning shift is very arrogant and does not understand Basics of customer service. If room next to you do flush in washroom, yours will imitate same and keep annoying you. You can not imagine tiny Bathroom like this which is slippery and can be a threat. I would rather rate guest house high than this hotel.

Checked in and they took me to my room. Was supposed to be nonsmoking but clearly it wasn’t or at least at one point it had been smoking. I had to ask them to switch my room. They took me to another floor and let me choose between 2 rooms. Again obviously at some point every room had allowed smoking or been smoked in but I chose the one that smelled the cleanest. Had dinner and afterward decided to shower for early bed time due to early intl flight. Shower drain didn’t drain at all and the water leaked out of the closed shower door into the bathroom where it didn’t drain out of the other drain either, out into the bedroom, and out the door down the hall. I didn’t know until I got out because I wear corrective lenses and didn’t have them on during the shower. Shocked, I called the front desk. They sent someone from housekeeping who called the hotel manager and another housekeeper. As the two housekeepers started cleaning, I apologized to the manager and explained what happened but he insisted on India the guest is treated like the divine and this was his fault as the host. I asked if they could just move me into another room but he ignored me. It turned into commentary on how lucky I am to travel because it’s expensive and Indians can’t travel because they’re very poor, how hard the housekeepers work, etc. When I again tried to explain the drain not working, he said it is a narrow drain - again as if it is my fault their drain didn’t work. It was very rude and surprising.

It is a cheap, clean place. Rooms are small but will do. Friendly staff. Restaurant not very good. Breakfasts always the same. Waiters kind of slow. Frankly I think that its better to go to nearby Starbucks for breakfast than having it in the hotel. WiFi slow, but will do. So the only minus for me was breakfast really. Also if you plan to visit the city and to see something, pick different place - this one is far from evertyhing. Ok - maybe Bandra is not far - but Bandra is another story...

It was basic. You get what you pay for.
