Grand Decameron Los Cabos, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort

La ubicación, las albercas, la playa muy limpia y la gente que atiende en su mayoría muy amable.

Muchas escaleras y la variedad del restaurante a la carta no era lo que esperaba. Quedó a deber mucho.

We have traveled through Apple Vacations for years and never had a bad experience. This Resort is extremely old, has one restaurant with very limited menu and a buffet. They also have a restaurant area by the pool where you can grab a hamburger hot dog fries Etc during the day. The only food that was actually fresh and warm were the omelettes made to order. The gym was filthy and so old and outdated. The entertainment several nights was bingo. Lol. Seriously. There was one pool bar and no servers. You are not allowed to have food around the pool. We called Apple the second day of our vacation to see if we could switch resorts but they said they couldn't do anything unless we paid a second time. As far as Los Cabos area, it's wonderful. Extremely safe, not like other parts of Mexico. We would definitely go back to Los Cabos just not this Resort.

It was a disappointment from the moment we walked in. The bar didnt open until 5 or 6. So in order to get a beverage after traveling we had to go to the pool bar. Not ideal. The elevator is obsolete. It only goes down 1 level and there are still stairs you'll have to go down. Having just had ankle surgery a lot of stairs were not great. If youre in a wheelchair, do not book here. It is not accommodating. Our room was underwhelming. It was dirty. The bathroom and shower shared a door. The toilet seat slid over when sat upon and it left a mark from where it pinched. There were flies we had no idea where they came from as you cant bring food to your room unless you purchased it from outside the resort. Infact I wouldn't even call it a resort let alone a 4 star hotel. The mini fridge came with nothing. Again you had to go off property to buy beer soda etc. They did supply water and coffee but you have to hound the front desk as housekeeping would never leave it. Also they would never clean our room. 3 of the 7 days our room was cleaned. Most of the time we didn't actually need the room cleaned we just wanted a restock on the coffee. Especially since the espresso machine in the lobby never had anyone to run it or it was down.The room cleaning never included any floor cleaning other than sweeping in sight. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking in the room. The TV was pointless. It offered a few basic channels and we could only listen in Spanish. There were no apps, no screen sharing... nothing. The bed was probably the worst ive ever slept on. It felt like a concave cardboard box. My partner and I took turns on the sofa bed. No extra blankets though. Now to the food. It was bland, boring and didnt offer much for variety. If you arrived to breakfast anytime after 9am everything had been sitting out and was hard and dry. The pre-made chilequiles were soggy. There was no meat to add either. The egg person made the only good food. Everything felt like it had been frozen and reheated. They also dont have any alcohol in the buffet. Must bring it from the pool bar or lobby if youre lucky someone is there I dont love the different cuisines nightly because we come to Mexico for Mexican food. The Luna restaurant was ok. The lunch menu was never offered only the snack menu. You couldn't eat at the pool either. It had to be in either the restaurant or buffet. The Luna dinner menu had no Mexican food either. Their ribeye is definitely not ribeye. Sirloin or flank at best. It didnt taste bad but it was thin and tasted mostly of char. The staff was always very nice. The poolside bar staff was also very nice. Though I question cleanliness and storage of alcohol and the mixers. We watched a couple people get so messed up one almost drowned in the adult pool he was pulled out given and beer and out back in the pool. He eventually was taken out by the security. They serve 35 % alcohol. I tried to get drunk and couldnt the whole time I was there. I felt like something was off with those drunk people. The adult pool was also disgusting. We sat in it one day and noticed white matter floating EVERYWHERE. It had to be a mixture of skin, sunscreen and other bodily fluids. It was nasty. We spent more time taking a chance in the kid pee pool. One thing we did love was Paula (Paola?) Who did activities. She was such a great hype girl. We enjoyed karaoke with her and unfortunately the second night of karaoke was canceled for some unknown reason. Instead they had the most boring sounding bingo at the night "sansoucci" bar. The other events seemed forced and no one seemed excited about it. Again, Paula (Paola?) Was the best!

Spa day was absolutely amazing. Ana did an amazing job and I highly recommend going and spending a couple hours with her.

Line for bar service never ending only 1 staff. Very slow only 1 bar open in the am

It’s old and has lots of work to be done a lots of safety issues

It’s old bathrooms not clean and old around the pool lots of unsafe type x walk
