This was our first time to the hotel. The pool is amazing! The restaurant had a variety of options to choose from. Getting transportation to the city center was really easy. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we will definitely stay here again.

"Feels like a prison"

Positives: The hotel is old and showing signs of age, but it is clean and well kept up. The restaurant has good food and is reasonably priced. The location is in a great part of the city with many dining options nearby. Negatives: The room rate has increased by $750MX in one month. Management is now requiring all guests AND their visitors to wear an arm bracelet. When my friend came by to have a drink, they demanded his ID before they would let him in, called me on the room phone to let him in, and they insisted he wear a hospital type bracelet. They would not let me leave the property until they sent someone to inspect my room, and then they lied and said this is done to make sure I did not forget anything. The gate would not be opened for me to leave until they had their inspection. This is a charming old hotel, but their behavior made my stay unpleasant. It feels like a prison. It should be noted that other similar hotels in the same part of town do not treat their guests in this manner. I will not be back.

We loved the pool. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious. What we didn’t like is the smell in the bathroom, it smelled like old smelly pipes; we had to keep door closed. Other than that, we recommend this hotel and we would stay again.
