Wingate by Wyndham Somerset

The internet/WiFi was not working. Could not get a paper receipt at check out.

It was safe, but the property was not kept up, the rooms were not all that clean. I should have not had high expectations because it was very inexpensive. You do get what you pay for here.

Dirty as hell pillows had yellow pee stains on them and bedsheets had hair on them and walls of bedroom was stained like someone threw soda on them

Very dirty, everything had to go and buy stuff to put on top of bed and pillows. Was afraid to even take our shoes off inside the room. And mold was in the AC unit and bathroom, the sink was leaking on the floor no towels in room at all. And lights didnt work.

This hotel is in complete disrepair both inside and outside. The room furnishings are dirty and dated. The carpeting and bathroom floors were filthy. The sheets and towels were yellowed and stained. The room that I stayed in had curtains that were ripped.

The room was a little dirty. The shower curtain had a huge rust stains. The breakfast area was dirty, counters filthy. Came in late to check in and took forever for someone to show up at the front desk. Finally had to call then hotel to get someone to come down.

Location

The curtains in the room were torn. The bathtub was rusted and smelled. Breakfast was terrible. The orange juice from the machine was brown...not even orange - it tasted terrible...definitely not a recognizable juice. The breads and English muffins were hard and stale. Must have been old. Even toasting them didn't help. I thought Wingates were a step up from Super 8...but this one is not up to the Wyndham standards I expect. We will never stay at this one or recommend to anyone.

Access to the lobby via car was less than ideal, but the location was good and it had covered parking. There was a working elevator. You could walk to a restaurant.

The lobby was dimly lit with a plastic sign behind the desk making it look cheap. The entire building needs renovations, including the bathroom, elevator and interior. It looked like something the city rents out to homeless people. The towels and washcloths were threadbare and small, with only one for each of us. The bedding was thin and sewn to fit so it only came up to just below my chest. There were three small pillows for a king bed. The room smelled.

The property was near the expressway

It was very outdated, things were broken, and the breakfast was horrible: the juice machine smelled like sewage and put out diluted watered down juice , the English muffin was stale. I wouldn’t trust anything to eat there.
