Birch Hotel

The hotel room we stopped in was dated and the radiator would not turn off so we had to open the window, the bed was okay, I did sleep well after the room cooled down, the rest of the hotel looked okay to me , staff are friendly, at the end of the day it’s a low price so you get what you pay for, for the price I thinks it’s a good hotel.

Friendly staff Amazing breakfast

Our room had a strange chemical smell, shower enclosure doors broken, water pressure in the shower was very low, lots of stains around the floor and walls , needs a bit of deep cleaning and upgrades around the room. Reception and bar staff very friendly .

This looks like it used to be a nice hotel at one time but is now tired. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room window where dirty and you couldn't see out of them which was a same The one thing that did concern us was the fire door to the stair well was held open with a wedge. We closed the door when we went to bed only to find all the fire doors held open with wedges when we went down to breakfast. We would stay again bearing in mind that there are no lifts in hotel
