Nice reception area, good first impression

Lock on door was ridiculous- struggle to lock it and open it. Dated furniture the room had no temperature control or fan.

Absolutely amazing service food room everything and everyone went out there way to ensure my stall was exceptional 👌 xx

Strange Hotel no food available after 7:30 bar closes at 9pm just feels it does not know what is a between a cheap contractors hotel or trying to be a bit more upmarket but just not hitting the spot

Hard pillows

The room was clean on arrival. The staff were polite and pleasant. The location was a good fit for our needs. Regarding the room issue In the next section, we were offered another room on our second day which was good of the staff, although we declined the offer to minimise disrupting our stay.

There were two broken light fittings in the room and a damaged mirror. The staff generally were not available except at breakfast. The room only provided one cup even though there were two of us staying. Beverages in the room were not replenished nor was the room cleaned on the second day of our stay.

My son had is wedding here on Saturday 26th april 2025, we stayed in room 7, there was mold in the corners of the windows the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold, there was an empty biscuit wrapper on the top when we arrived, the windows you couldnt see out of they were blown, there were dirty marks on the carpets, dirty marks on most of the walls, scratches on most of the wardrobes and table, hadnt been dustied, the telly had all smears over it, it was just poor filthy, unfortunately we didnt go in the room while late at night with 2 grandchildren, so didnt see till day after, saw breakfast manager day after as he was only one in and got told to put complaint in, i cant even give a 1 for the room it was that bad, the worst thing was the mold as my self and one of my grandchildren who is disabled have a low immune system which isnt very good with all that mold about. I do have photos to corroborate what i am saying, my advice would be close the bedrooms and refurbish. Definitely not worth the 145 pounds we paid for the room for 1 night.
