"Excellent"

Our room was very clean, spacious with a great bathroom. The hotel is gorgeous and we had a great deal on the price. The location was perfect without being noisy. We could have done with a kettle in the room but that is the only thing.

"Very central, lovely hotel"

10.0

The hotel was at the top of a building in the very heart of Siena, with an elevator. Everything was walkable, and we loved the view from our window of the street below. The rooms were a bit dated, and the bed was not luxurious, but the room was spacious, and we really appreciated the service--all of the staff were friendly and helpful, making reservations for dinner and calling a taxi for us. The breakfast was spare, but fresh and delicious.

"Location, Location, Location!!"

10.0

We LOVED this hotel! You get to it by going through a flower shop and then riding an elevator to the entrance. It is literally a stone's throw from the town square, which is the center of everything. We were able to walk to and from the bus stop (from Florence) with our luggage, as well. Our room was very spacious and pleasingly furnished. It included an adequate breakfast buffet, and they would bring breakfast to your room, if requested, at no additional charge. We would gladly stay at this hotel again!

"Beware of Implied View Room - It may not have view"

4.0

When searching Hotels.com, this hotel showed a Junior Suite with a photograph that showed and labeled that said that the Junior Suite had a view of the Tower in Siena. So I booked a more expensive room to get the view. When we checked in ... the room did not have any view at all. And the staff would not do anything about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. So beware. I think it is inappropriate to advertise a room with a view and then not deliver ... especially when I paid an upgraded price.

"one night in Siena"

10.0

A late booking, we turned up after a long bus ride to find a shabby lift to take us to a 3 or 4 th floor door... I was getting a little worried even though the grand staircases ( another option instead of lift ) suggested differently. We walked in to find a very charming and well decorated reception, like somebody's home, very classy furniture and a very friendly man on reception who I assume owned the hotel as he didnt appear to be just an employee. Starting to feel excited we got the key and went down the corridor to our room which was fantastic and as the pictures suggest, just like a very classy italian house, everything was clean and felt quite new. Excellent bathroom with large power shower, air con was great but the best part was the tiled floor and great decor. These people really take pride in this hotel. I would not even look at another hotel if we were to stay in Siena again.....which, is an amazing place by the way. Oh and the breakfast was a good european breakfast.

"Great location"

8.0

Great location; parking is a bit problematic, but we had a lot of luggage to cart back and forth. Good, clean room for a reasonable price, probably would stay there again. Need to enter through a flower shop, then take an elevator up 4 flights. But location, location, location!

"Very nice small hotel in a perfect Siena location"

8.0

We enjoyed one night in this small hotel on an upper floor of a residential building in the very center of Siena. You enter through a retail flower market on the ground level, then take a lift to the hotel. Not lavish or luxurious, but clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Best feature is the location at the intersection of the three streets that join in the historical center of Siena, just a 30-second walk from the Campo. There are some stairs involved in getting into and out of this hotel. Those who have trouble with stairs should be aware of this.

"Slightly disappointed"

6.0

Went to this hotel for our wedding and had a superior room which was large and clean. The location is very central. Staff were pleasant but although they knew we were getting married passed no comment - "congratulations" might have been nice! Minimal continental breakfast. There is a bar a few doors away which is a bit noisy in the early hours though the hotel supplies earplugs! Compared to the rest of our trip in Italy this was the most expensive hotel for the least value.
