Palazzo Fani Mignanelli

This property is well located near the major points of interest. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The website photos are better than the actual conditions but in general we happy with this choice. Entering the first time be aware that you go through a flower shop to an elevator to floor 3 and then down some steps to reception. It is not difficult but confusing the first time.

This hotel was excellent,in it's standard of character accommodation, it's cleanliness and it's location, so near to the Piazza il Campo but finding it on arrival was a bit difficult. We knew it was on a third level, as we were e mailed before our arrival, but the florist shop was a bit tricky to spot. The bus station was only a 5 minute walk away too. We had no complaints at all and we could highly recommend this hotel if you were looking for a small, personal and centrally located place to stay.in Siena, with breakfast provided, air conditioning in the rooms and wifi too.

Noisy, noisy, noisy... Even with ear plugs! Breakfast the worst ever! Very expensive for what we got for a room with breakfast! To get there was bad news. The young man, Roberto, was very kind! But he was the only asset. The way it sounded from descriptions was just not true. We cancelled our second night!

We thought the hotel was good value in the perfect central location. Our room and en suite were small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and the staff were very helpful. If you want a small hotel in Central Siena, this is worth considering. Do not be put off by the ground floor entrance through the florists and a rather dingy courtyard.

Great place to stay. Affordable rooms, and they are super clean and really cozy. Could not ask for a better location. My only suggestion would be better signage. When you arrive at the address listed for the hotel, it is an alleyway containing a few businesses. They are located on the top floor. Well worth the money. Great room.

Cosy room - only six rooms in total. Heating and glazed windows for sound proofing. Comfortable bed and small but functional bathroom. Great towels. Right on the Main Street in historic centre of Siena but private and not affected by street noise. Three floors up by lift - which is on the outside of a medieval building and quite an experience in itself. Entrance extremely hard to find as the numbers for the street were not present and there is no sign in the street for the hotel. It's at the back of a courtyard occupied by day by a florist. The young receptionist was the most helpful person - welcoming and eager to assist. Excellent English. I had a problem with contacting my bank in Australia and she did everything possible to get the connection happening. She also arranges the breakfast some mornings and it was plentiful and a great selection of local foods. Room service for tea and coffee on white linen tray.

From before our arrival throughout our short stay, the service I received (help finding transportation, etc.) was friendly and prompt. A gorgeous place to stay and relax, and extremely comfortable and safe. Would like to return when it's warmer and the pool is open. The breakfast was delicious as well - this would be the perfect place to stay and explore the Tuscany area.

Room was beautiful. Service was fine. Breakfast was good and included more options than other B & B's in Italy. The only negative was the wifi which was very slow and often you couldn't get on.
