Palazzo Fani Mignanelli

Have stayed here before. Hotel needs a bit ofa freshen up. Great location. Breakfast needs improvement.

The hotel is in an excellent postion just off piazza del campo. It located just off a main shopping street but our room was very quiet as it faced an inner courtyard with roof top views of the torre and cathedral tower. Breakfast was o.k but the dining room is quite small. The room and bathroom were a good size.

Very pleasant room with a lot of character

I had a terrible time finding it, and the staff was not helpful when I called and emailed. It is behind a flower shop, past a very dirty glass door with faded signage knee level (ie hard to see), into a dank empty courtyard, up a cage elevator to 3rd floor, down some steps, and you are there. The room was okay but the party noise was like a Fraternity brawl til 4 in the morning. Be warned! The earplugs provided are there for a reason. The breakfast was disappointing.

We were stunned by the beauty of this hotel. We felt like we had stepped into a fairyland castle, stayed in a loft room with wooden beams, views of The Duomo and a 14th century tower from our window. The hotel is located just a minute walk from Il Campo, where we relaxed many hours. The buffet breakfast was meager, but adequate. The staff was very helpful. We would loved to have stayed a month!

Hotel was in prime location. Room was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast and breakfast service was excellent. The staff were generally very, very pleasant with the exception of one of the staff members on reception who appeared rather disinterested. Fortunately he was compensated for by the pleasantness of the other members of staff.

The only downside to this hotel is that it's tricky to find the first time. Otherwise, it's fantastic with an ideal location just a block from the famous square. My room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quite good (for Italy), with more options than at most hotels. The staff were mostly helpful and spoke good English. I'd stay here again for sure.

Close to everything. Soundproof windows. Good breakfast. Two couples spent 3 nights in 2 comfortable rooms.

Inspite of the traffic nearby, the soundproof windows made it quiet. Giovanna is a sweetheart who is very helpful.

Ideal location from point of view of local attractions but not well signed from outside and entered via florists with an elevator accessed from the courtyard behind. The hotel itself was staffed by friendly helpful receptionist and a good breakfast was provided but our room had an unpleasant odour - perhaps was previously a smoking room and had been de-fumigated - and the furnishings did appear worn. Excellent location though, which did compensate. And thus we would recommend.
