Mountain Park Hotel

I didn’t like my night here as there was a venue on, nobody made us aware of it, we went down to ask what time it finished at 11pm and we got asked what we want. The lady who came out was extremely rude. The property walls were bouncing as a result of the music and we was right on top of the venue area, In a family room

Would stay here again! Nothing fancy, but it was a comfortable bed and a gorgeous setting!

Had an enjoyable time Hotel staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. Our room was comfortable but dated and our view was the skylights. Still recommend and would stay again in the future.

perfectly good for a couple of nights stay. Conveniently situated for my trip. Friendly staff and a good meal.

This hotel was value for money when visiting family. Checked in just after 2, took a while for anyone to come to reception but it was quick once they came. Spent the day with family and upon return we went to get a drink in the bar, it was only 7.50pm and the staff told us the bar was already cleaned down and cashed up, the info sheet in the room said it shut at 10pm! Apparently the staff told us they do this on quiet nights so they can help with functions but from what we saw they went and sat behind reception, this was a little disappointing! Bed was comfy, room was basic but fine for the money and clean. There was an event on but I checked with hotel before hand and they said our room was at the back and we hardly heard the music. There was ample parking and it’s in a lovely area, with a bit of love this could be a stunning hotel.

Ok - bit dated

When we arrived i could clearly see that our room had not been cleaned. We found dirty underwear on the floor, false eye lashes stuck to the radiator. False nails on the sofa and hair all over the floor. As we are arrived late, there was no one at the reception i was able to complain too. However i did inform the gentlemen at reception the following morning. Who said he would speak to the cleaners. Shocking. It was disgusting. Will not be returning thats for sure. However there were some positive. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly. And the breakfast was lovely. It was just a shame our room had clearly not been cleaned.

Though the room I was given required some TLC; mainly cosmetic, needed a new hair drier and the mattress needed replacing. (Did inform staff and staff were helpful). The location, service, cleanliness and facilities were great. I would like to return some day.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, room lovely and clean but bed not very comfy. Enjoyed our stay
