The location is perfect the sea views across carlyon bay from the bar and restaurant brilliant.my room had a single bed and Seaview very clean and comfortable perfect for a solo Travelers George and his staff are very welcoming.

Great location with superb view across St Austell bay, only 10 mins walk from Charlestown and 15 mins from Carleon beach. Plenty of car parking. Inside, the hotel feels traditional without being old fashioned. There’s a bar, restaurant and lounge, all with brilliant sea views. From reception to check out, the staff were friendly and keen to make sure I was being looking after. Food was good even if the menu was limited- it was quiet after all. Continental breakfast also fine. My room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing - it was a little quiet, so I hope they do well during the busy season.
