Hotel Rigel is a *Pearl in Venice". You wake up to the wonderful smell of freshly baked croissants through your window. Welcoming, professional and smiling service from the staff. The breakfast buffet is varied and here you can then taste the different croissants you have already had the pleasure of smelling. The neighborhood is quiet and you are only a 15 minute walk from: "Hotel de Bains", from the movie "Death in Venice" by Visconti. Then go down to the lovely courtyard, put on your headphones and listen to "Adagietto" from Gustav Mahler's 5th...also from the movie..

What's not to like...everything...

EXCELLENT PETIT DEJUNER

I stayed in a single room. It was small, but comfortable and perfectly adequate for my needs. What I especially enjoyed was the hotel’s charming little garden, where it was lovely to sit both during the day and in the evening. It was also possible to have breakfast outside in the morning, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, everything was excellent. I would gladly return and stay at this hotel again.
