Hotel Bologna

Our stay at the Hotel Bologna was excellent in every way. Very convenient for the Arena, site-seeing and shopping in Verona, really helpful and pleasant staff, excellent breakfasts and comfortable rooms! Bravo!

Just what I was looking for when visiting Verona for 24 hours on a solo adventure. Great location and a cute little hotel. My room was small but good for just one person.

Hotel Bologna was great for us even before we stayed there. We were able to leave our luggage on site for 8 days while we went hiking in the Dolomites and when we were through our hike we stayed at Hotel Bologna for 4 nights. They even helped us to arrange a taxi to the Dolomites when there was a train strike and we had no way to get there. So when we finally stayed at the hotel 8 days later, we were extremely grateful. They also helped us get some (expensive) laundry done. Every service we asked for they provided, with a smile. The hotel itself is exceptionally well located just a block from the Arena. It is beautiful, elegant, spotless and well appointed. The room was very comfortable and spacious and we had an extra bed in there for our daughter. All toiletries were provided. There was a beautiful breakfast every morning that was included and that we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend this hotel and Verona in general. A beautiful, magical place.

Hotel is located very centrally - close to major sites and some bars and restaurants. Rooms are on the small side - had a superior and it was minuscule. Staff on reception were friendly - not so much at breakfast. Also very misleading - online looks like there is a pool and rooftop bar (there is not - it’s a suite)

The staff were very helpful and efficient. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Being next to Bra Piazza with restaurants and bars and shops on their doorstep was amazing. Will definitely stay there again when we are in Verona.

We loved this hotel! Everything from the location to the amenities and the room was amazing. Our staff was wonderful and we really liked the lady with the red hair working the breakfast every day, and the young gentleman at the front desk. They were so kind and welcoming. The only thing was our last encounter with a lady on Monday morning. She was extremely rude and snobby. It was unfortunate considering it was our last day in Verona. We asked her to help order a taxi and when I said I needed to run to the bathroom she yelled and said “No, you need to go to the taxi!” It was very rude and we ended up making it to the taxi just fine. Overall, we would be back but hope not to run into the rude lady again.
