"Excellent stay!"

We had a wonderful welcome and an equally wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were really lovely and couldn’t do enough to help with sightseeing ideas, train times, taxi booking etc. Must mention the excellent reception staff - Maribel, Rosa and I think the young man’s name was Alessandro. Our room - a triple - was beautiful, comfortable beds etc and the whole hotel was beautifully designed and spotless. And breakfast…just fantastic! Huge choice of delicious fruit, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, pancakes, eggs, everything! The location of the hotel is unbeatable…a minute’s walk from the Arena and the chic main shopping street. Such a treat and a very memorable stay.

"Lovely place with very helpful staff."

Vey nice hotel. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Maids came in daily and the room was kept spotless. I found the bed comfy. Breakfast was vey nice. Location of the hotel is brilliant for exploring Verona, being just a stones throw away from the Roman arena. Airport is a 15 minute drive, train station was a 20 minute walk and the taxi rank a 5 minute walk (or reception can call a cab directly to the hotel). Only negative was the noise from the bar opposite into the late hours but once the windows are shut and the air con is on you can’t hear any noise from outside. Great place with very helpful staff. Verona itself is beautiful and a great place to explore. We did a day trip (organized tour) to lake Garda which was a great day out and we took a train to Venice to spend the day there (about an hour and 20 mins by train).

Property was ideally placed for The Arena and the numerous restaurants around the area. Not sure if it was a plus or minus but on two of our nights there was a concert in the Arena which was too easily heard from our room!!

"Recommended Verona hotel "

Highly recommended. Great central location at edge of Piazza Bra next to the Roman arena. Lovely hotel, smart decor, very clean. My deluxe double was spacious, with big shower room (great shower!). No view except next rooftop. Breakfast is a real treat with huge choice on buffet and nice staff.
