Alpenheim Charming & Spa Hotel

Very comfortable and luxurious hotel, located in Ortisei which is very fine place for hikers and skiers in Val Gardena, South-Tyrol. The host was very helpful and all his staff very professional. We didn't have ime the check the spa but from outside it looked interesting. The restaurant was extremely good. Professional staff and the menu interesting. Their breakfast was also very good. We will book accommodation there again.

We had trouble to sleep due to high temperature in the room but outside was 22°C or higher. Probably it isn't common to have air-condition in such buildings in this area. For people living in the northern most part of Europe it caused bit of a problem. There was also problem to park the car as the streets are very narrow. The host took though well care of the issue for us. Second night we got space in the car parking house of the hotel. One advice, book a car lot in advance and there will be no problems :) They have very nice car park at the -1 floor, spacious, clean and good lights

Beautiful hotel and spa. Amazing view of the town from above, loved the pool that overlooks the town and mountains as well. There is a nice 10 minute trail right off the property that takes you into the center of town as well as the cable cars to Seceda and Alpe di Suisi. Modern and clean with a very nice bar and dining area, nice outdoor patio area as well. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was also very nice.

There were many black ants in our room.

Parking can be difficult

We booked the room and half board. I was not expecting such a delicious breakfast and 5 course dinners! The indoor/outdoor pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and sightseeing. This was the perfect stay for us. We were a bit concerned because we did not have a care and the hotel is a decent walk from the main bus stop. Turns out there is another bus stop closer to the hotel but we ended up walking back and forth. We also received a pass for bus transport. A nice touch was the back back in our room in case we needed it for hiking. Best hotel stay we've ever had.

Location and restaurant

The location was beautiful. We loved the amenities, including the heated pool and relaxing pool area. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent as were the staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
