Reginna Palace Hotel

Estar no Regina Palace é como estar em casa . Toda a equipe faz tudo para nos atender muito bem! Os quartos sao amplos , o café da manha excepcional! O hotel é muito bem localizado , além de tudo o cardápio para almoço e jantar é excelente.No cafe da manha , ovos, omeletes e outras coisas sao feitas na hora . A piscina além de linda, tem uma água deliciosa! Se puder,,um.dia eu voltarei!

We stayed here while traveling along the Amalfi Coast and chose it because of its central location and proximity to the beach. Positives: • The hotel itself is good, with a nice pool. • Our room was good—modern and comfortable, although the bathroom felt much older and didn’t quite match the updated room. • Breakfast was good and we especially liked the terrace. It’s a little oasis and a beautiful spot to start the day. Things to improve: • The pillows were very uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep well. • On check-in we were not given any information about the hotel’s beach area. We only discovered it by chance when we saw umbrellas and beds with the hotel name on them. • No towels were provided for the pool/beach in the room—we had to ask each time. • Parking is very overpriced at €28 per night, though to be fair, this seems to be common rip off across Amalfi towns. It’s annoying that they charge so much knowing you have no choice. • At check-out, we were surprised by a €45 charge for a beach visit. It would have been nice to know about this beforehand, as the pricing depends on which row you sit in (front is most expensive, back is cheapest). We sat in the back row but were charged for the middle, which was €10 more—fortunately we noticed and had a laugh, but it would be better if the charges were clearer and more transparent. Overall, the hotel is in a great location and is nice enough, but there are a few things that could be improved to make the stay feel more comfortable and fair.

The room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable, lovely balcony and daily cleaning.

The breakfast was quite basic and some of the breakfast staff was not very serviceminded.

Beautiful stay, incredibly clean. Grounds are amazing and perfect for families.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist klasse. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die gesamte Hotelanlage war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück konnte direkt am sehr schönen und ausreichend großen Pool eingenommen werden.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick, was lediglich 15 qm2 hatte, das ist ziemlich klein, man fühlt sich auch zu zweit ziemlich schnell beengt. Außerdem empfanden wir das Hotel als ziemlich laut (bedingt durch rücksichtslose und vorwiegend italienische Gäste). Auch das Umfeld des Hotels (Lage direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße und der Flanierstraße mit all den Restaurants) ließ von morgens bis spät in den Abend keine Ruhe aufkommen. Ferner empfanden wir das Frühstücksangebot für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht angemessen vielfältig (super: frisch gepresster OSaft jeden Morgen zum selbstpressen). Für über 280.- Euro pro Nacht (was für die Amalfiküste wirklich günstig erscheint) empfanden wir das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis insgesamt trotzdem als nicht angemessen. Wer ohne eigenes Fahrzeug anreist, muss sich auf lange und teils komplizierte Fahrten mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln einstellen (insbesondere nach Neapel und Pompeji). Wer mit eigenem Fahrzeug kommt, braucht starke Nerven, die Küstenstraße ist stets überfüllt und nichts für Fahranfänger.

The hotel was centrally located and beautifully presented. The pool was fabulous, especially for children as it had bridges and diving boards to play on. The staff were incredibly helpful with all enquiries, even booking things on our behalf. The breakfasts were especially good with a superb choice. I would love to come back!

A great hotel in an excellent town. Enjoy true Italian hospitality, wonderful food and impeccable clean rooms . This is a true Italian vacation spot , unlike tourist towns on the amalfi coast.
