Nice property located in ravello, pros: checkin was stress free and both ladies at reception were very kind and welcoming, swimming pool, amazing view from swimming pool of the sea, walking distance to the piazza and the bus stop at ravello to visit amalfi coast and other places along the coast. Cons: 1. avoid breakfast at the hotel and rather eat at the cafes which are in walking distance to the piazza (50m distance) 2. Rooms in need of refurbishment 3. The lady at Checkout was rude and we had an unpleasant experience. We had taken out 2 bottles from the minibar and kept it outside to make room for the juice we got from outside, she instead charged us and started accusing us when we said that the water bottles were not used by us and kept outside the minibar. The checkout was stressful because of that lady. The management must counsel the lady on customer service. 4. No Uber available so we had to take the local taxi to praiano which was expensive - 80 euros for one way transfer. 5. Hotel is

Best stay ever! It’s a family hotel located in an amazing area in Ravello, it’s a historical place and it is mesmerizing The hospitality and the service were perfect The staff are very nice and welcoming The rooms are clean and the services are great and the view is breathtaking! I recommend this place for a holiday for couples and friends Enjoyed my time there

Hotel Rufolo is beautiful, clean and the staff is superb. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Basic and dated room with lots of small thing that didn’t work. The staff weren’t attentive and not overly helpful. Location is great and the pool is good although not heated. Generally ok but it’s overpriced for what you get and there are other better places to stay.

If you expect a quiet stay, this wouldn’t be the spot. Second floor hotel rooms are directly under the restaurant that has tiled floor. If there is an event (which I understand might be only some weekends in the summer) you won’t be able to sleep. After the wedding ended at 12:30am seems like the entire restaurant was being rearranged with heavy furniture being dragged around till about 2am. I suggest you call ahead to verify what you should expect during your stay. Otherwise hotel would be quite enjoyable, clean and with a lovely view. Staff do not seem to care though if you log a complaint.

Ravello is that special place we return to time and time again, and the friendly, well appointed Hotel Rufolo is always our choice. After a few years hiatus, happily nothing has changed (although they did resurface the pool, always beautiful, now even moreso). As ever, the staff are kind and attentive, meals are delicious, and the sweeping views from the front rooms and restaurant just get better. The Hotel Rufolo is right in the town of Ravello, which is a pastiche of historic sites and legends, busy bars, artisan shops, and, at its vibrant heart, the Piazza Duomo. We highly recommend this hotel, and this destination.

We were looking for lunch with a view and followed the sign to Hotel Rufolo. It has two restaurants with views of Villa Rufolo the mountains and the sea. We chose the light lunch restaurant at the entrance level rather than the rooftop terrace restaurant Sigilgaida. We particularly wanted camari. The restaurant offered a paper cornet of deep fried calamari and prawns, this was in addition to the menu at the hotel entrance. We chose this, see photo, with bruscetta, caprese salad of mozzarella and tomato and local rose wine. The wine from sanmarco was light, dry, floral notes quite delicious. The caprese salad had delicious mozzarella and really fresh tomatoes. The calamari were exquisite and perfectly cooked the best we have eaten and its a favorite dish. One portion was 5 slices of bruscetta. The view was to die for. Lunch cost 50€ including a tip. The restaurant had lots of space. Memorable visit to Ravello.

Had a wonderful time at Hotel Rufolo! Great location. Beautiful views. Lovely service. Would definitely stay again.
