Hotel Rufolo

Ravello is magical and the Hotel Rufolo was the icing on the cake. It was recommended by a friend and we recommend it to our friends. They helped me arrange transport and last minute travel plans. Helplul and friendly staff, patient with our almost complete lack of Italian. We woke up to amazing sunrises every morning.

A great little boutique hotel with a great location next to the Villa Rufolo, and a lovely view of the ocean (when it was not raining). Breakfast had a good selection although we were not fond of having a press the button cappuccino (vending machine type). The folks at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Only issue was when it dropped into the 50’s and the room became quite chilly, heating was sporadic and had to be turned on by the hotel—no in room controls that worked until the hotel turned it on. We were hiking in the pouring rain every day and were pretty cold.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great clean pool with stunning views of the Bay of Salerno. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room size very good, beautiful views and great central location few minutes from Ravello square. Would not hesitate to book here again .

Just a minor point, but more choice would be good for breakfast. However would not stop me booking again as was still adequate.

Not very friendly at all. I got in around 8 from driving all day and the restaurant manager intentionally left me waiting at the entrance of the restaurant for 15 minutes before coming over to say that it was 9 and they couldn't do anything. Most all the restaurants were closed nearby and I hadnt eaten all day. Extremely discourteous, especially as a paying guest of the hotel. General attitude of displeasure when speaking with staff. Cold. The first room I went into (of which they had a very light occupancy at the time of the year) had a giant stain on the bedding, was hot with not fan or window, and a very weak wifi connection. Only until I asked for a new room was I shown a room feeling Im a bother.

The hotel has one of the most stunning locations looking down into the bay below. We had a comfortable but dated room with a wonderful big terrace. Breakfast was no more than adequate but the food in the main restaurant was just about average and people clearly came for the view and not the food

Both are excellent

Noisy. Could hear noise coming from the dining room. Swimming pool is very shallow. Cannot swim in it. Photos are deceptive.

The location of the hotel is perfect. very convenient to all Ravello has to offer.

I liked everything about the property. No complaints.
