Hotel Kappa

Staff were helpful, close to bus service for Venice and area. Breakfast was good, clean room and quiet location.

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was simple and good...especially the bakery items. This hotel was not in a tourist area, but a quiet neighbor so not too much around for dinner or afterwards. Nice ice cream shop a couple short blocks away. And a really great local restaurant "Tre Rose" about 4 blocks away....family place with great food and staff. Bus to Venice islands took about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bus stops to and from Venice just a few steps from the hotel. 12-hour bus/boat pass is the way to go if you are in Venice for one day. It allows you to get on and off all boats and buses all day. We took the boat through Venice and also to the island of Murano. Breakfast better than most places eg they had boiled eggs and fresh fruit available. Secure parking in the rear of hotel. Restaurants are close to hotel. Don't plan to sleep in as bells of local church are quite loud.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff who were helpful and spoke English. Nice breakfast. Safe neighborhood, very close to bus stop. Shower was small compared to U.S. standards but all in all we were very happy. Would stay again/ recommend to friend.

This isnt a bad hotel compared to other hotels in Venice.The price is affordable but its a bit far from Venice city (about 20/25 mins on the bus). If you like staying out late the last direct bus is before 10pm but if thats not an issue than I would recomend the hotel. The wifi wasnt free but reasonable.

Hotel was OK. The back of the entry door to our room was covered with fabric; therefore, there was no way to see who was at the door. There was no air conditioning. The wallpaper must have had a hole or something under it because it was patched with new wallpaper. The front desk women were helpful. The hotel was about a 20 minute bus ride from the train station.

This hotel was nice and cosy. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Managed to find street parking as 12 euro a night is a little pricey to park a car. It was about a 40 minute bus ride into Venice.

people at the hotel were very accomodating and tried their best to make the situation of being stranded due to the Icelandic volcano eruption as painless as possible. Breakfast was substantial, with a great variety of choices. it is very close to the bus stop to go into Venice proper which made it easier to spend more time in the city. room was nice, beds were comfortable, accomodations very nice. will go back if ever in the area. was a bit noisy during daytime but not bad at night.

Very good location, friendly people, wonderful breadfast, and clean room. The hotel staff will go extra miles to make a customer happy. They make wonderful coffee too. The bus rides to Venice and airport are very easy.

Spent time in Venice and appreciated the location to the local bus stop- easy to get into Venice and the station for the trains. Staff was very friendly. Pizza place up a few blocks was very well priced and delicious. Affordable option from the pricey in Venice alternatives. The bus ride 15 minutes or so from the hotel, so it was not inconvenient in the slightest bit to stay in Mestre.
