great value and very helpful staff. Easy bus ride into Venice.

The staff are very helpful and the hotel is comfortable. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood but very close to all amenities. Bus stop for venice is about twenty meters and the service is frequent and fast.i will always stay here when visiting venice .

The staff and the check in process was good and they were very helpful with any questions, my friends and I had. I was not wowed by the room, it needs some TLC and updating. The bathroom was clean enough, but I could barely move in the shower! The television channels were all in Italian, no way of figuring out how to get subtitles! The bed was comfy enough, the room was just dark and in need of a facelift.

Nice hotel in a peaceful and quiet location. Bus to Venice is close by and convienent. Good value for money!

The hotel was located in Mestre which is on the mainland where many Venetians live. It was close to a few restaurants and gelateries and there were lots of trees and foliage. They also had recycling containers across the street which we were very pleased about. We felt very safe walking around. The room had a double bed (made of two single beds) plus a bunk bed and a bathroom with shower. The shower broke while we were there and they fixed it (sort of) quite quickly. There was an outdoor terrace close to our room where we sat and enjoyed the scenery. Breakfast was good (juice, breads, fruit, yogurt, etc) and it was served from 7:00 to 10:00 each morning. The staff was helpful and friendly and they booked a taxi for our trip to the airport on the day we left as well as telling how to get to Venice. We took the bus into Venice which was a 45 minute trip and it stopped at Piazza Roma which is very close to many of the sights of Venice.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very near a bus stop and easy to find. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

We've stayed in Hotel Kappa 2 nights, overall it is a good place to stay for the person with a tight budget! The things we like about this hotel, very convenient to get in Venice just take bus no 2 outside the hotel. This bus take you straight to Venice under 25 minutes. Only 1.5€ one way, the only downside is very crowded but it's ok just for 10-15 minutes! We like the breakfast, especially the cappuccino and the croissant! The hotel owner and the staff are very polite and friendly! They gave us all the information we needed.

The location of the hotel is not near Venice. However, it has a straight bus from the hotel which the receptionist managed to explain in clear details which make everything very convenience. The staffs are really friendly and very willingly help which impressed me very much.

This hotel is within very shory walking distance to a bus stop (#2 that takes you to P. Roma in 20 min. or so) and a train stop. Small hotel with no elevator. Room was small and clean but the bathroom had an unpleasant smell that we suspect that come from the drainage system. Breakfast buffet was good with goof selection and excellent service from one of the co-owners and his assistant.

The Kappa Hotel was far exaggerated in all reviews. It is very far from the Mestre train station and buses ran quite sporadically the day we arrived. The bus ride into Venice was crowded, uncomfortable, and long. Although the bus schedule says it runs until midnight on a Saturday, we were told the bus we took at 22:30 was the last one and were dropped off 3 stops away from the hotel. The room was cramped and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Even before it was used, the bathroom smelled like urine. Breakfast was mediocre and a long hair was present on the plate of meat and cheese. I would recommend to spend more on a hotel or stay at a hostel instead of this hotel.
