Hotel Kappa

As the walls are quite thin, you can easily hear the voices, what is really annoying especially late at night or early in the morning. Old bathroom and rooms smell.

When we first arrived, we were assigned a room that was very noisy and we would not have been able to sleep. The lady on the front desk was very helpful and reassigned us to a different room, which was great. The shower was very small (my partner is 6 foot 3 and had trouble fitting in it). The location was great for public transport into Venice island. Would stay again.

The hotel staff are lovely the hotel is easy enough to get in and out of Venice. Bus stop right around the corner. Best way to travel around is with a pass which can be purchased around the corner of the hotel and then you validate the pass each time you use public transport, it included buses and water boats.

This hotel provides a good value, is comfortable, and has a great breakfast buffet. The hotel does need some refurbishing (new carpet and paint). It is located next to a bus line that runs to the Mestre train station and on to Venice, but I didn't find anything of interest in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The only thing I can fault is the size of the shower. We are big people and it was tight. Everything else was great. The breakfast was really good. A good selection was available and a fresh beverage was made to order. Very convenient for getting to Venice. Staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Will be staying again in 2 weeks time.

The front desk staff are EXCELLENT!! They speak English and are awesome at helping you find your way around the area. The hotel itself could use some TLC. Slightly outdated. No major problems with my stay but would just say that it's not the fanciest hotel in town and the bathrooms are dingy but the water pressure is great. I would stay here again since it's a great budget friendly hotel and the bus is close to get into Venice or to the airport.

Quiet area, great location! We had a friendly reception, the room was clean and the breakfast very good. Ideal to go to Venezia... Approx. 30 min away by bus... Nice terrasse to have smoke.... I recommend this hotel :)

Hotel is great. Really helpfull staff, english is not a problem, great breakfast and good bus connections. Bus stop is just 100m away and thus got gateaway for Venice or airport.

Hotel not clean (curtain shower , corridors carpets, breakfast very poor ).

A solid hotel, though it felt the rooms and corridors may need some renovation, due to a little smell perhaps.
