Hotel & Resort Le Axidie

Lots of places to sit and relax. Breakfast room spectacular Massage very good. Hot pool not hot.

Le Axidie is well positioned to offer stunning views across the Bay of Naples. The hotel provides a shared (with other hotels) shuttle service to and from town, but sometimes there are too many people for one vehicle, and another has to be called for. A booking system would perhaps help. The rooms are comfortable and nicely kept by the cleaners. Breakfast is good, with the added bonus of those lovely views across the Bay. We also enjoyed our dinners in the restaurant when we ate there. Best of all the staff are amazing, very friendly and professional- they always have a smile for you and are always ready to offer help. Overall we had a great holiday at Le Axidie and have every intention of returning in the future.

The staff and food were fantastic. Beach access was lovely. The overall condition of the hotel was poor and very old. That said, I’m from the USA and I’m aware properties in this part of the world are much older, but the hotel needs an overhaul. I was here alone, which also made this location a little difficult, without a car. There was a shuttle bus to the train, but very limited coming back. When I got to the train station at 8:05pm there weren’t any taxis and I had to wait 45 min for a local bus. There were some people around, but it didn’t feel super safe. The hotel dining was fantastic, the staff and the food!

We loved our experience at Le Axidie! We came to Italy to explore and have relax days in between. This resort is a little off the beaten path but they provide free transportation to the train making exploration easy. Reception is very helpful as well. Plus it felt super safe tucked away. The resort is amazing with 5 pools and the beach to relax on. Access to the sea from your hotel is not easy to come by in this area.

Highly recommend for those who wants to spend time in the beach and also in upscale pools (wellness center). The staff was very courteous. If you want to go to capri or positano there is an small marina 5 min from the hotel, so don’t waste time booking in a different port or marina. The access from the main road to the hotel is a little be tricky make sure to be alert for the traffic coming from the opposite side in curbs. The road has traffic in both ways. Everything else was great.

Fantastic, slightly quirky, beach area and views were stunning, and harbour next to the hotel had one or two good restaurants and bars. Reception staff were very helpful. Spa area cost £15 euros, but was lovely for a slight change of scenery. Highly recommended

Place is NOTHING like the pictures. The pictures they are using must be from years ago and not the rooms actually presented for stay. The apartment was dirty, unkept and we regret booking this. Terrible.

We stayed at one of their apartments, the only option available when booking. Room never got cleaned, when we requested for housekeeping service were told it would cost 80 Euros. The laundry machine didn’t work in our room, someone was sent to fix it but was never repaired. Local people get season passes at the hotel, it gets very crowded -a lot of youngsters; their “private” beach has lounge chairs and umbrellas assigned to those local people. Guests at the hotel can never get front chairs, but instead in the back. For beach/pool towels you have to go to the front desk to get them. Our experience at this place was not good. We would not got back and don't recommend it.

Great location with access to beach and multiple pools. Friendly staff and very clean facilities. Highly recommended.

Front office was superb. Needed a Dr. First day Daniel was empathic. He took care of everything for me! Anna was another angel to work with she helped get special requests met with diligence and aplomb. My wife and I were treated well. We felt special. Le Axidie is a gem. Chi chi beach is very beautiful.we also enjoyed the spa area. There is a great view to Vesuvius We hope to return and enjoy another special trip
